Close to 100 species of mammals and about 606 types of birds dwell within this park and among them are the: large schools of hippos, large forest hogs and the good-looking Uganda kobs which are all commonly seen in the tourist villages on the magnificent Mweya Peninsula which prides in a beautiful waterfront locale within the shadows of Mountain Rwenzori. However, the isolated Ishasha Sector is prominent for the resident tree-climbing lions, the Maramagambo forest is habitat to an attractive diversity of monkeys plus birds, the crater lakes hold thousands of the beautiful pink flamingoes, while the Kyambura Gorge is habitat to habituated Chimpanzees

Itinerary

Day 1

At 7:00am, our driver shall pick you from your Hotel/Residence, board the vehicle and drive westwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Masaka- Mbarara highway, stopping at the equator for pictures and Mbarara town for Lunch. You shall then proceed to Queen Elizabeth via Ishaka and Kyamuhunga. You will branch off the road in Bunyaruguru to visit the twin crater lakes for about 30 minutes. After you will head to your Lodge for Dinner and overnight. Accomodation-Engiri game lodge or Park view lodge or Mweya safari lodge or elephant hub or elephant plains. Meal plan-Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2

You will wake up at 5:30 and have breakfast at 6:00am, you will be transferred to Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a morning game drive. During the game drive, you will drive via the various channel tracks in search of Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards, antelopes and several bird life. You shall also have a view of the salt mining lakes within Queen Elizabeth as you relax and stretch. You will then be transferred to your Lodge for your Lunch. In the afternoon you will go on a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which connects lake George to Edward where you will spot various bird life and wild life. You will later return to the lodge for the evening relaxation. Meal plan-Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3

Your third day begins with an early morning breakfast at 6:00am after which you shall be driven to Kasese then proceed to Fort Portal where you shall visit the stalactites and stalagmites commonly referred to as Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru and Toro Kingdom Palace. We shall have lunch in Fort portal and then proceed on your journey to Kampala. The driver will drop you at your hotel/Residence or the Airport if your Return Flight falls on this day. Meal plan-Breakfast and Lunch.
