Our culture has been greatly shaped and influenced by what we had for a long time only looked at as cash crop, now with a new wave coffee riding, we bring you an experience of the true Bugisu Arabica coffee, experience our unique coffee culture and apreciate everything about our coffee as we take you on a specialty crop to cup experience. Itinerary
Stop at A local Farm.
Meet one of our patner farmers at thier small holder farm, so they take you through growing the Bugisu arabica coffee, right from potting the seedlings to harvesting and primary processing at the farm.
Deep conversations with the farmer about their way of life and how the coffee has influenced their culture.
Take part in potting, planting, harvesting the coffee, cupping, washing, hulling, fermenting, depending on the season.
Then continue to do a hand crafted cofeee, make coffee the Ugandan way. the travellor will take part in the hand roasting, the pounding and brewing the coffee locally. Forget about counter culture, hard opinions about roasts. No Espresso, no Frenchpresses, just Black coffee and african coffee the Ugandan way.

Stop at a coffee Processing point. Appreciate the whole coffee value chain at a processing piont, learn about coffee right from the beginning, before starbucks, as a livelihood, as a culture and get a thing or two in coffee ethics and justice, traceability and acountabilty, and perhaps buy some beans for takes.

Stop at an artisan coffee house. Get a taste of the best profiles of Bugisu arabica in a coffeehouse and learn a thing or two about the local coffee drinker and their myriad ways of brewing their coffee.You will get to know our various beliefs, norms and cultures around coffee, and who knows maybe youll do a “kata mukago”- old ritual with cofeee bean.Do a cupping session and take some specialty coffee home!.

Confirmation will be received at time of booking. Child is 3 to 12 years old. Infant below 3 years old is free-of-charge. Guests are advised to be punctual.
